When torq originated as a manufacturer at the end of 2016 it quickly became established in the race suit market throughout 2017. During 2018 the brand has gone from strength to strength and is enjoying growth in the karting market.
The kart suits have seen us work on some interesting projects from making Nico Rosberg a suit for his Hot Wheels promotional work to making suits for drivers that have gone from being big names in karting to now running kart teams.
This was certainly the case with Mike Spencer, all ways a front runner throughout Cadets and Juniors and topped with becoming the Formula A champion which was the top direct drive class in the UK at the time.
We recently did suits for 4gadets which included a suit for Mike. After time away from the seat Mike entered the London Cup last weekend and probably to no surprise (to those who know his achievements), he won. Only to lose the victory due to a penalty. However, the speed is clearly still there and it is great to see a karting legend in a torq suit and our custom gloves.
Mike has been helping Daniel Guinchard over the last few years so it was quite fitting that Daniel also won his class at the London Club, also wearing his torq suit.
We still have a few months left of 2018 but we are looking forward to seeing what exciting projects we get to work with in 2019.
