Below we have included brief descriptions of the products that we offer. The 100% Bespoke range is a cut, sew, embrodiery/printed teamwear range. The products are hand made to the highest standard ensuring that we offer some of the finest garments within the sector. All garments can be designed using our templates, with colours being changed and logos added. For higher quantity orders we can move away from our template designs and produce something truly unique.
Outer Layer
Winter Jacket
Water repellent and wind resistant, our jacket is made with bonded heavy duty softshell fabric (320gsm), featuring hood adjusters and YKK zips. For added comfort, we have developed a high chin guard/collar for those cold days, while adding Velcro to the cuffs to allow for adjustment. Our coat has two side pockets as well as an inside zipper pocket. This coat has the warmest lining of all the products in our range, and also features our signature lower back to keep you covered at all times.
Softshell Jacket
We make our softshell jackets to the same specification as our winter coats, with two differences. The lining is thinner, while the softshell does not feature a hood.
Taslan Jacket
Once again, the cut and the fit of the jacket is the same as our other outer layers. It features YKK zips, two side pockets plus an inner zip pocket. As with the softshell, this jacket is hoodless and made for those days where you need a thin outer layer. The fabric weight of this jacket is 210gsm, making it thinner and lighter than the softshell and winter coat.
Mid Layer
Microfleece.
We offer this product in three different styles: hoodie, quarter and full zip. The material is 100% polyester with a weight of 280gsm. All the garments have an elasticated waistband and cuffs to create a modern, fitted look. The quarter and full zip models both have two side pockets. Our microfleece has become increasingly popular, and these products have a sheen/shine to them. The hoodie features a kangaroo pocket on the front, while the garment itself has a draw cord.
Cotton Hoodie
These garments are made as above. There is the same choice of hoodie, quarter and full zip. The cut-and-sew style is no different from the microfleece, but the fabric that we use is 100% cotton and slightly heavier than the microfleece at 320gsm.
Base Layer
Polos shirt
We offer this in 100% cotton or 100% polyester. The cotton fabric has a weight of 210gsm. Depending on the number of logos required, we can offer embroidered or printed logos on these garments. The polyester offering is made using sublimation, so no printing or embroidering is necessary. The weight of the polyester fabric is 160gsm.
Tee Shirt
As with the polo shirt, we offer cotton or polyester options for our tee shirts. The cotton fabric has a weight of 180gsm, while the polyester fabric has a weight of 160gsm.
The design of the garment will determine the type of garment that is produced. For a more professional, minimalist design, we would recommend a cotton product due to the higher quality and properties of the material. However, because polos and tee shirts are light, thin garments, that does mean that a complex design or a design with numerous logos sometimes looks better sublimated.
Slim fitting stretch pants & Shorts
We are really excited to launch our work trousers and shorts for 2022.
They are made using stretchy fabric which is 95% cotton and 5% spandex. The slim fit means they have a modern, fashionable look, but the stretchy material doesn’t mean you have to compromise on comfort.
The material also has a lot more flexibility than a standard cargo pant/short, which enables this new range to provide superior comfort.
Both the shorts and pants have a waist pocket each side, a pocket on each side of the back and a Velcro-covered pocket lower down the leg on both sides.
WHAT THE DRIVERS THINK
The Torq Superlight suit has been superb this season. Noticeably lighter but also very impressed with the fit of the suit. Helps that it looks fantastic as well!
I’ve had a few suits now from different suppliers over the years. Martin and Torq can offer a bespoke service and a quality product at the correct price. I first ordered a torq suit when they were new to market. That suit served me well with no rips or poor stitching. I have been using Torq Racewear for over 4 years now and have used a selection of their products; suits, gloves and coats. I started wearing a Torq Race Suits in 2019 and went for the Torq Club 2 option. My first impressions were how comfortable it was, and the bespoke sizing meant it fitted perfectly and didn’t look baggy out on track. The colours and embroidery were fantastic and gave the professional look I was after. In 2020 I upgraded to the Torq Elite suit, and this is now my suit of choice. The material is soft, very comfortable and elasticated perfectly. Once again, the colours are so vibrant, and the embroidery done for my sponsorship logos came out perfect and they were very pleased with the professionalism and the visibility it provided them. When I changed race teams I had the option to have a suit from the Manufacturer they used, but I opted to designing a new Torq Elite suit in their colours and logos, that how happy I am with the Torq range of race suits.
I feel so proud to wear Torq Racesuits as every single suit I have had always fits really well and the designs created by Torq always stand out in the paddock. Plus I know mum washes them loads and they always look new!
Absolutely love my Torq suit, I always get very hot when I’m in the car so I was delighted when my suit came and it was so light! It makes my job in the car so much easier. The design is always superb!
